So kawaii! For you HK enthusiasts, they have come out with a Hello Kitty water bottle in Japan (about $16 USD).  I'm not sure when or if it'll make it to the States, but if you can't wait, you can purchase them here.  I use Google Chrome as a browser so that it'll translate it to English for me.

Paper Tape!

Oh those clever Koreans! Remember my last post about Japanese masking tape? Well, I found some super super super cute Korean paper tape!

Not only that, but they also have different colored masking tape as well!

Japanese masking tape! I love these different, soft colors (rather than the regular American manila color) and I love the durability and wide range of uses I can make for masking tape!  I can imagine it now... labels, gift wrap, crafts...

Pencil cases!

Remember when you were in elementary school and bought pencil boxes for your writing instruments? I do!! I LOVED going to the Asian supermarkets and going to those sections at the front of the store that had a bunch of imported goodies or to the Sanrio store to browse for hours and buying cool pencil cases!

Revisiting my interests, I wanted to post some pretty fun looking pencil cases I've run across...

I had this deluxe kind that had several compartments, but actually way cooler than this because there'd be buttons that you'd press and pencil sharpeners and hidden drawers would pop out!

Super cute key chains!

I think that I passed my phase of collecting key chains back in Jr. High, but when my old UCLA roomie, Sandy & I, ran across these key chains in San Francisco's Chinatown, we couldn't resist!

They're reminiscent of the awesome PS3 game Little Planet, Big World's character, Sack Boy.

They had a HUGE selection, but the salesgirl there caught me pulling out my camera and barked a sharp "No photos!" before I had the chance to snap a picture. AND they strategically placed these right in front of the cash register so there was always a watchful eye. Alas, we only purchased 1 each so that I could check out the workmanship and hopefully recreate some day, along with my gazillion other projects I hope to accomplish.

Baby Shower

I attended my Aunt's baby shower in Orange County today for her expectant baby girl, Kennedy, in late February!

Fun Laptop Sleeve

So! Since I got my new laptop I needed a new sleeve to go with it! I was initially going to go for a generic neoprene sleeve, BUT... I thought I might as well spend a little more to get something that suits my personality a bit more.

At first I was desperate to find the Tokidoki x Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Edition sleeve ($40 retail), BUT they are all sold out everywhere and are selling on Ebay for upwards of $100! Cute as it is, I am not willing to fork out a hundred smackaroos for that bad boy.

SoOo, what to get for my laptop? Well, since my purchase of my Harajuku Lovers shoes, I thought that this line might have something more affordable. Score $50!

Ahhh, what a perfect pairing! I got these at the Alhambra location after stuffing my face with shrimp & crawfish with my college roomies! I NEED to find the blue and white spoons somewhere! Only 2 days left of the collaboration! Must...hunt...down. Sawtelle, I'll be scoping you out tomorrow or the next day!
