Daffodile Dupe?

Original Post 9/12/12:
I just saw the new arrivals from Bakers online and it looks like we have a dupe of the infamous Christian Louboutin Daffodile pump!  Bakers/Wild Pair has created the Issa WP.  The Loubs are still way hotter with the sexy curves... but if you like the general shape of the shoe, this might be a more wallet-friendly alternative for you!
Christian Louboutin Daffodile - $1075 (6.3" heel, platform 2.5")

Wild Pair Isa WP - Bakers $120 - available in black or taupe leather, or blue suede (6.4" heel, platform 2.5")

& thanks to stilettolover91 for the find, there's also the Steve Madden Dejavu version ($129.95) - available in black, blush, and gold (6" heel, 2" platform)

Edited Post: 9/14/12
I was at Forever21 and spotted these lookalikes as well
Black Faux Suede & Leopard - both $29.80
Heel heights are 6.25" with a 2.75" hidden platform
...
And patent colors with a shorter heel (5.75") with a hidden platform of 2.75"; available in: black, pink, blush, red, and nude for $27.80:
...
And metallic mesh colors (black or gunmetal) with a 5.75" heel and 2.75" hidden platform for $24.80:

Inspired by... Bridal party shoes

"Inspired" Look

I was pretty excited when I ran across these Jimmy Choo's (Darling sandal in gold) on the left online because they reminded me a lot of my Aldo Gagliardi purchase (now sold out) for my wedding party shoes later this December. True, they're not a dead-on replica, but the toe box has an 'inspired by' look in the caged weaving. Love!  I wore these to break them in during the bride-to-be's bachelorette party in Las Vegas and they were comfy and sturdy!

Hyper Natural Gray Circle Lens Review

I know it's been awhile since I did my first review of circle lens...
So without further ado...

Before: Natural colored eyes below (top)
After: Hyper Natural Gray lens (bottom)
14.5 mm

This obviously enlarges my irises and gives me a doll-eyed look. I like this gray too since it doesn't have a lot the 'bluish' tinge that other gray lenses have (click image to enlarge). Comfort-wise it isn't too bad since it has 45% water content.

*Please do not remove any of my watermarks. I'm providing these photos as reference for those who are interested in the lenses.

Dany in action

Since I'm in school pretty much every day, wearing heels isn't the most practical thing since I'm climbing stairs and rushing to get from one destination to the next. My good friend's bridal shower gave me a chance to break in these bad boys (Jessica Simpson Dany in Coffee Summer):

Comfort verdict? Super! Except, I have an issue with the back of my right heel that a lot of heels cause irritation and rub and give me blisters. This was one of them. I'll be putting a heel grip to the back of this one.

EOS Limited Edition - Snow White

I saw this limited edition Disney "Snow White" EOS set earlier this week at Target for $7.99 and had to pick it up! Scents: Sweet Vanilla Nonsense, Watermelon Wonderland, and Blueberry Potion

 Packaging
 Back of packaging
The limited edition has an extra "groove" on the side to make the Mickey Mouse silhouette! Cute!
When I opened the balms I noticed they were more "yellow" than my other EOS balms (example above next to strawberry sorbet). I'm not sure if it's a change in formula or what, but the texture is still about the same.  I have to say that the scents were really "sweet" smelling. Almost on the verge of too sweet.

Two-toned cut-outs

I had a little free time this week from just starting a new session in school so I've got some posts loaded up for the week!

I wanted to share this find for those who like the colorblock trend.  I do like the detail of the 'weaving' action.
Left: Giuseppe Zanotti Coloblock Wave Sandal (MSRP $1,150; sold out)
Right: GoJane Two-tone cut-out heels (in several other colors as well; 6" heel, 2" platform) ($34.70)
